If you were a character, would you be more likely to be the detective or the criminal?

Definitely a detective, but more of a systematic plodder than a deep thinker with inspired hunches. Also I’m too chicken to commit crimes, which is a basic requirement… 
 

Book you’d kill to get back if it was stolen?
Probably Ann Cleeves Shetland series, starting with Raven Black
 

Which crime/thriller character would you most like to have a drink with?
Either Vera, or Tony Hill from Val McDermid’s Wire in the Blood series. I’d love to know how a profiler works.
 

Podcasts or music?
Definitely music, the opening bars to Barrington Pheloungs Morse/Endeavour theme gets me every time. Also the sheer volume of podcasts out there intimidates me and I have no clue where to start! 
 

Cluedo or Monopoly?
Cluedo all day long. We have an ancient board which is basically falling apart but I wont replace it!   
 

What are you most looking forward to watching/reading/listening to next month?
Final season of The Walking Dead (YES I fully invested in all 3000 seasons…), Anatomy of a Scandal on Netflix, Our House on ITV and (ahem) Bridgerton…

The third novel from Russ Thomas, Cold Reckoning…
