Subsequent to Maria Grazia Chiuri becoming the first female creative director of Christian Dior back in 2016, make no mistake the Italian designer has favored female photographers when documenting her vision for the fabled French fashion house. From the get-go, we’ve encountered the works of a whole host of female creative forces including Brigitte Lacombe, Paola Mattioli, Elina Kechicheva, Alice Mann and Brigitte Niedermair. Up next with the unveiling of Dior’s Spring 2024 campaign imagery is Tina Barney. The American photographer captures models Alice McGrath, Honey Ordonez, Mauve Dupuy and Rosanna Ovalles around a plush and luxurious interior throughout the series of storied campaign images.

“The makeup is deranged. Awful,” cried out Kite.
Also quick to point out the unfortunate makeup look was forum member Ihhbl, commenting: “Creepy mouths. I hate all these images. Bad models in bad clothes!”
“Usually Dior ad campaigns elevate the clothes and I actually like them but this is terrible,” confessed WAVES.
“A truly abysmal campaign, but not that I’ve come to expect much else from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior campaign imagery. Bland, banal, lifeless, and soulless beyond belief. There’s literally not one single element I’m able to appreciate here – from the casting to Tina Barney’s nondescript photography,” voiced vogue28.
