“My favorite holiday party trick is to add glitter the color of my hair color to some gel. Tip your head forward and sprinkle glitter in your tresses. When those low lights hit you at a party, all eyes will be on you! And if you don't want to use gel, use some hairspray instead to hold the sparkle in place,” suggests Destiny Godley.

“Whether your hair is long or short, Rihanna’s slicked-back look at the 2016 VMAs is an easy, sleek and chic look for any holiday party. To get the look: Start by washing the hair with a gentler formula; MOP Pear Gentle Shampoo is a great choice since it’s tear-free and smells really fresh. Then blowdry the hair completely straight. After it’s dry, run MOP Mixed Greens Leave-In Conditioner through the ends to smooth the hair back and tame flyaways. To make it pin straight, flat iron hair (I like using a Cricket Ultra Smooth Styling Iron) and comb all behind the ears. Place bobby pins on each side of the hair behind the ears and smooth hair over the pins. To finish, spritz with a firm-hold spray,” says celebrity hairstylist Yusef.

“Make sure you hydrate your hair after a holiday party. Hangovers are the worst for the hair — it becomes Too Dry Eve. Every time I’m hungover at home on a weekend and don’t plan to go out, I put on a hair mask all day to recover and restore. You can leave it on however long you want; it totally makes a difference,” says Luanna Perez-Garreaud, LE HAPPY creative director.
